All weddings are covered using a combination of photojournalism and traditional wedding photography. During the pre-wedding consultation we ask the couple to give us their vision of how they want their wedding photographed. We feel that it's ultimately up to the customer to determine how they want their final wedding album to look. Many of our brides and grooms leave this up to us, but we pride ourselves on being flexible and accommodating. This consultation is also the time to discuss black and white photography. Our normal ratio is about 20% black and white and 80% color, but we modify this based upon the needs and preferences of the client. As your photographer, this means discussing where and in what groupings you want your family portraits taken. It means determining how discrete you want us to be in capturing candid shots, how much intrusiveness you're comfortable tolerating for those special close-ups, and whether there are particular moments or people you especially want captured for your memories. And more. Choose Us Because We Are Dependable I have gone to so many weddings where the minister showed up late or I was doing the photography and the DJ had a piece of equipment fail on him. This happens more often then you think. And while sometimes people are good at hiding it, other times it is a disaster. Ever wonder why a DJ halfway through the night suddenly starts talking in between every song? It's because he had one of his CD players fail. These kinds of things happen and that's why it is important to have dependable equipment, dependable transportation, and most of all be a dependable person. When we say we're going to show up somewhere, that's exactly what we do. When we say we have backup equipment, that's what we mean, as your photographer we bring at least two cameras to each event not to mention all the other equipment. And while it's impossible to drive two cars simultaneously down the road, I do carry AAA insurance so that if worst comes to worst, I'll get towed to your wedding. That's also why I arrive 30 minutes to an hour earlier than I need to for setup. Just in case. Choose us for our array of options At Chris Witthar Photography we want you to have exactly what you want, when you want it For photography that means giving you the most customized service possible with more images for you to choose from. And giving you the most flexible pricing possible so you only pay for what you need. We give you all the options and then you choose exactly what you want to have. To start with we take a minimum of 500 images at any wedding and sometimes many more. This way you have many more options to choose from and will always find the perfect picture. Then when the pictures are done you can choose the enlargements that you want in the sizes that you want. We don't tell you how many of what size, rather we give you the option so you can get exactly what you want. When Chris makes an album for you, you can proof which pictures are going to be included and tell him ones you prefer or images you would like to substitute if he does the first design. When he does magazine style albums, you get to review every page before we send them to be printed and request changes within reason.
